We assemble. Counsel files.

Filing exhibits and Dual Ledger working papers on a desk

Filing support at Moko means we assemble the numbers, calendars, and exhibits your counsel asks for. It does not mean we give legal advice, file in your name, or sit as the auditor. Dual Ledger holds NAV, capital accounts, and the verified scorecard in one period folder. Counsel still owns elections, character, and what gets signed. If a scorecard line is not verified, it does not go in a filing exhibit. Counsel can still ask for the source file. We will not stamp a number we would not put in the LP pack.

What Dual Ledger will put in a counsel folder

K-1 packages, capital account rolls, NAV statements, the call and distribution register, and scorecard tables that tied. Working papers stay with the period so counsel can follow a line to the named source file. Dual Ledger will not rewrite counsel's cover letter. We will not choose elections. We will not tell you which form to file. If the LP roster legal names do not match the last subscription files, that gap sits on the GP desk before anything is assembled. Email the last exhibit list to support@mokofund.com if you want that map named before the next close.

What Dual Ledger will not stamp into an exhibit

If a scorecard line is not verified, it does not go in a filing exhibit. Counsel can still ask for the source file. Dual Ledger will not stamp a number we would not put in the LP pack. Estimates do not get a stamp. A missing month stays blank. Occupancy without a rent roll dated on or before cutoff is not verified. Jobs remembered on a call are not verified. A soil test still at the lab is not verified. Your GP can still discuss the gap. The exhibit stays short.

Who signs. Who does not.

Moko is not a law firm, not a CPA opinion, and not a substitute for your auditor. Dual reporting is an admin close: NAV, capital accounts, and a verified scorecard on Dual Ledger. You sign GP representations. Moko signs the admin checklist. Counsel files. The auditor signs the opinion. We will not sit in those other seats. Filing support is assembly of numbers counsel requests. If you want one firm to be counsel, auditor, and administrator, that is not this desk. Hire those firms. Use Dual Ledger for the numbers they consume. Questions: support@mokofund.com.

Ask who signs the filing before you book the close

If your current administrator says they file, get that in writing from a licensed firm. Dual Ledger will not sign. Book a scope call with a vehicle, a close date, and the exhibit list counsel already expects. Send the last two packs and the last exhibit request to support@mokofund.com. We will show where Dual Ledger stops and where counsel begins. That is slower than a one-desk pitch. It is the only way Harbor is not surprised on a call.

We assemble. Counsel files. Dual Ledger does not sign.

Ask your administrator who signs the filing. If they say they do, get that in writing from a licensed firm. Dual Ledger will not sign. The books and the scorecard still share one cutoff. Harbor still gets one pack. Counsel still files. Book the scope call. Send files to support@mokofund.com.
